Active Transportation Program Resources

California’s Active Transportation Program

What is California’s Active Transportation Program?

Grants from the ATP fund projects across our state that encourage “active” modes of transportation like biking and walking, explicitly helping to fund projects in California’s historically disadvantaged communities and projects that help kids get safely to school, and CalBike and our partners have and continue to work closely with this statewide critical funding source.

Cycle 4 (2019) Timeline

BLACK LIVES MATTER

California will never have the equitable, prosperous and inclusive communities that CalBike advocates for until we address and redress anti-Black violence. We want to actively contribute to ending systemic racism, especially in transportation policy, and most especially in bicycling advocacy. We promise to listen and learn how we can best do this work. To our community members who experience the violence of racism on a daily basis: we see you, we hear you, and we stand with you.
