Registering your bike is free and easy with Bike Index, a nonprofit organization that maintains the world’s leading online database of bikes with a focus on preventing bike theft and promoting recovery.
Bike Index is often the first place that buyers and police look when checking to see if a bike is stolen. If your bike is marked as stolen in the database, a series of actions are triggered via the Bike Index community to help add in the recovery process.
