California Dream Ride 2020: The Dream Ride Challenge

Beautiful Tour. Great People. Awesome Cause.

The California Dream Ride Goes Virtual with the 2020 Dream Ride Challenge, Saturday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 11th.

Join the Dream Ride and your bicycling community for a fun and meaningful virtual ride to raise funds for the California Bicycle Coalition!

What is the Dream Ride Challenge?

The Dream Ride Challenge will bring the spirit and energy of the annual California Dream Ride right to your front door.

Over nine days this October, take part in fun cycling and fundraising challenges, and come together with your bicycling community online to inspire and motivate each other, and to share the joy of bicycling in a brand new way.

Take part in the Dream Ride Challenge by riding your bike in your own neck of the woods, and on your own time. Make new friends or strengthen bonds with old friends, build community, and boost your health. Best of all, you’ll be raising funds to support the California Bicycle Coalition’s work to make California’s communities healthier, stronger, and more equitable—through bicycling!

California will never have the equitable, prosperous and inclusive communities that CalBike advocates for until we address and redress the anti-Black violence that has plagued our country since slavery. We want to actively contribute to ending systemic racism, especially in transportation policy, and most especially in bicycling advocacy. We promise to listen and learn how we can best do this work. To our community members who experience the violence of racism on a daily basis: we see you, we hear you, and we stand with you.
