Join CalBike at the Capitol! On Wednesday, April 22, join advocates from across the state to speak with legislators about creating a future full of bicycles.
You’ll start the day with a brief training from CalBike staff, including details on the issues you’ll speak about.
You’ll then visit legislative offices and discuss the need for safe biking infrastructure.
CalBike will set up the meetings, with the goal of sending folks to speak with their own representatives alongside others from their district.
To foster an inclusive and diverse 2026 California Bicycle Summit, CalBike invests in funding a robust scholarship program to help people who live in disadvantaged communities, work at lower-resourced organizations, or otherwise demonstrate a financial need to attend. Scholarships are primarily in the form of discounted or free registrations; travel lodging support may also be provided, with lodging primarily provided via homestays.
To apply for a scholarship to attend the 2026 Bicycle Summit, please fill out this form. Scholarship applications are due February 1, 2026, and successful applicants will be notified by February 20. Following the initial deadline, scholarships may be available if funds allow. Please contact Jared Sanchez at jared@calbike.org for additional information.
