Low Carbon Fuel Standards Workshop

On Monday, August 7th, the California Air Resources Board is holding a workshop to discuss the amendments for the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS), which is a program that provides subsidies or “credits” for low- and zero-carbon emitting fuel options. CalBike has asked that ARB staff investigate bike programs, like bike share or electric cargo bike delivery fleets, as potential beneficiaries of LCFS credits. This workshop is an opportunity to express your support for opt-in credits for bike programs and make it known that a broad stakeholder community would like to see the LCFS embrace bikes as the lowest carbon transportation option.

Join us and our partners in attending or calling in to participate in the workshop. Please RSVP so we know to expect you and if you are planning to participate and can submit a comment, please let us know and we’d be happy to share some recommended talking points.
