One of CBC's functions is to assist with the development of local coalitions by: identifying new advocacy groups we can assist in development; increasing the activity of bike clubs in the direction of advocacy; and encouraging and supporting the formation of new bike advocacy organizations where there is good potential for one but none exists.

We rely on the participation and support of local bicycle coalitions statewide to contribute ideas, mobilize their members in support of important legislation, and to assist with our ongoing lobbying efforts by providing financial support and encouraging their members to do so.
