Is my contribution tax-deductible? CBC is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization that lobbies the California Legislature. For this reason donations to CBC are not tax deductible. Your support for CBC is generally tax-deductible when you direct it to the CBC Education Fund (EIN 68-0417507), CBC's 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliate that focuses on educational programs such as bicycle street skills trainings and the annual California Bike Commute. Donate to the CBC Education Fund.

Matching employer gifts. Double the value of your tax-deductible donation with a matching employer gift. Request a matching gift form from your employer and return it to CBC completed and signed along with your donation to the CBC Education Fund. (And if your employer doesn't have a matching gift program, encourage them to start one.)
