CBC is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization that lobbies the California Legislature. For this reason, donations to CBC are not tax deductible. Your support for CBC becomes a tax-deductible charitable gift when you direct it to the CBC Education Fund (EIN 68-0417507), CBC's 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliate that focuses on educational programs such as the annual California Bike Commute.
