Happy Bike Month!

Happy May — or, I should say, happy Bike Month! For more than 50 years, communities across the country have been celebrating bicycling in the May sunshine, with events like Bike to Work Week, Bike to School Day, and the National Bike Challenge. It’s a time when many choose to start bicycling after rainy, cold winters, or when people become recommitted to the daily bike commute. We would like to highlight some of the many Bike to Work events happening around the state (in no particular order).

May 8th is Bike to Work Day for the Bay Area. Tweet #BTWD to your friends, join our social media push, and get some schwag at your Bay Area energizer station.

If you would like to add anything to this list, email ryan@calbike.org
