Support Clean Energy & Bicycle Advocacy on Climate Ride California
Join Team CalBike on Climate Ride, a 4-day, fully-supported cycling adventure! Climate Ride California will return again May 17-20, 2014, with more than 200 cyclists pedaling 250 miles of from the stunning coastline in San Francisco, through picturesque wine country, ending at the beautiful California State Capitol in Sacramento. This “green conference on wheels” and fully-supported adventure raises funds for a collection of non-profits working on sustainability and bike advocacy, including CalBike! Climate Ride is the first multi-day, multi-city charitable bicycle ride to address sustainability, climate, and renewable energy issues. The event also supports bike advocacy and showcases the bicycle as the ultimate carbon-free machine and a viable form of transportation. Funds raised by CalBike support our campaigns to build Better Bikeways throughout California and promote the new “Three Feet for Safety Act.” Climate Ride will also take place on the East Coast this September 20-24, 2014. Climate Hike in Glacier National Park is August 24-28, 2014. Participants can currently register for either ride online at bit.ly/teamCalBike
After the ride, join us for Bike Advocacy Day May 21. Everyone is invited for a day of coordinated meetings with legislators to communicate the importance of policies to build a bicycle-friendly California.
